Offering 1,500 beds, the third largest hotel group in Madeira combined three well-known hotels in the Madeira hotel sector and took advantage of the refurbishment of its most recent unit to launch a new brand name, and a new communication strategy based on the name Four Views Hotels.

The Four Views Hotels Group was set up in 1988 by a group of Madeira entrepreneurs from different sectors of activity who decided to invest in tourism.

Having purchased the Monumental Lido in 1991 (today known as the Four Views Monumental Hotel) and the Oásis Atlantic in 1998 (nowadays the Four Views Oásis Hotel), the group purchased the old S. João Hotel in 2005 which was then refurbished to meet the standards.

Overlooking the spectacular bay of Funchal, and set against the backdrop of hills surrounding it, the new unit of the Four Views Hotels Group offers all the features it needs to become an exclusive city resort.

With its opening ceremony scheduled for March 2009, and offering 231 rooms and 30 studios, an infinity swimming pool and an elegant Spa, the new Four Views Baía Hotel combines comfort and technology with the well-appointed signature décor by Nini Andrade Silva, and will soon be a hallmark among the 4-star hotels in Funchal.

Stimulated by the launch of the Four Views Baía, the Group – which currently operates solely in the 4-star segment – takes full advantage of this period to reassess its communication strategy by creating a common brand name for its three units – the Four Views Hotels – and launching this new website.
